Parents remain the official homeschool authority, but Alcovo makes it easy by generating attendance logs, portfolios, transcripts, and notices of intent so you don't have to stress over the paperwork.

Alcovo covers all the core subjects — math, reading, writing, science, history, and civics — broken into 36-week lesson paths that feel manageable. Lessons are short, conversational, and supported with quizzes, images, and voice narration. Parents can also unlock Explore Mode: if your child wants to learn about space, dinosaurs, or even poetry, just ask! Parents can also assign one-off lessons, and the AI tutor builds a fun, structured path around those topics.

Absolutely. Alcovo is COPPA-minded and FERPA-aware, meaning we follow strict guidelines for protecting children's educational data. All conversations are encrypted, we never share personal information with third parties, and parents have complete control over their child's learning data. You can export or delete your family's data at any time.

Alcovo is currently available nationwide in the United States. We're starting with comprehensive compliance support for Connecticut and expanding to other states based on demand. The core learning features work everywhere, and we're continuously adding state-specific compliance tools.
